California Democrat introduces legislation (HR 5615) July 9 making it a violation of federal law for a pharmacist, physician or health insurance administrator to disclose a patient's prescription record to a third-party unless authorized in writing by the patient, or in some cases, required for law enforcement or judicial use ("The Pink Sheet" June 22, T&G-7).
