Executive Summary
Legislation requiring rebates from drug firms participating in the Pennsylvania program cleaeed the state House July 12 by a 166- 30 vote and now goes to the state Senate. The approved version contains amendments proposed by state health officials to raise the cap on maximum rebates and tighten rules for indexing "best prices" ("The Pink Sheet" May 27, T&G-16). PACE covers outpatient prescription drugs for the low-income elderly.
