In a June 13 citizen petition, firm requests that FDA amend the Final Rule on OTC Deodorant Drug Products for Internal Use to include the use of chlorophyllin copper complex (Defiril) in reducing urinary or fecal odor due to incontinence. In the preamble to the Final Rule, FDA said new data suggested that the ingredient was not effective.
