At the June 12 meeting of FDA's Antiviral Drugs Advisory Committee, Center for Drug Evaluation and Research Director Carl Peck, MD, announced that he has "a short list of a number of very capable and able candidates." He added: "The interview process has begun [and] we are hoping and expecting to conclude the interview process and the [selection] process by the mid to late part of the summer".
