Executive Summary
Will construct a new 234,000 square foot facility in the Detroit suburb of Plymouth, the company announces Feb. 7. Construction of the new facility will begin in June and is scheduled for completion in the summer of 1992 at an estimated cost of $ 12.5 mil. The new facility will replace McKesson's Highland Park, Mich. distribution facility. The new facility will be the fifth constructed by McKesson this year: replacement centers are also planned in Philadelphia, St. Louis, Atlanta, and Phoenix.
