Amended in Oct. 3 Federal Register notice "so that only the term 'lozenge' is used to describe a solid oral dosage form oral antitussive drug product intended for dissolution in the mouth." The monograph had provided for the use of menthol in "lozenge" or "compressed tablet" dosage forms.
