FDA’s FY 1991 budget
Executive Summary
Approved by the full House July 18. The agency's funding is included in HR 5268, the agriculture appropriations bill, which was adopted by a 335-86 vote. The bill would provide $655 mil. for FDA, $88 mil. above the agency's fiscal 1990 funding. The bill rejects user fee programs proposed by the President in his funding request. Senate Agriculture Appropriations Subcommittee has yet to schedule a markup of the bill.
