Executive Summary
Former American Therapeutics Inc. CEO and president will be sentenced in Baltimore federal court on July 26. In March, Vegesna was charged with two counts of interstate travel in the aid of racketeering. The two counts allege that Vegesna paid for a trip to the Orient and provided furniture and computer equipment to former FDAer Charles Chang. Vegesna could receive up to five years in jail and a $250,000 fine on each of the counts.
