Executive Summary
Richard Eils is 1990-91 chairman of the National Association of Chain Drug Stores. Eils, president of California-based Thrifty Drug, was inaugurated at the association's 57th annual meeting at The Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach, Florida April 21-25. Elected as vice chairman was Hook-SupeRx Chairman and CEO Phil Beekman, who is succeeded as NACDS treasurer by CVS President Harvey Rosenthal. NACDS VP Finance Jim Huber reelected to his post as secretary. Only change in make-up of the NACDS board is election of Peoples Drug Store President and Chief Operating Officer David Eisenberg to replace Richard Scott of American Drug Stores.
