Import duties on four Marion Merrell Dow drugs
Executive Summary
Would be suspended through calendar year 1992, under legislation introduced Feb. 21 by Rep. Gradison (R-Ohio) and Feb. 5 by Senate Minority Leader Dole (R-Kan.). The products affected are Carafate (sucralfate), licensed from Japan's Chugai; Pentasa (masalamine) licensed from the Danish firm Ferring A.S., and Cardizem (diltiazem) and Cardizem-analog TA 3090, both licensed from Tanabe.
