Executive Summary
On Nov. 7, Sacramento Superior Court Judge Ronald Robie temporarily set aside his day-earlier tentative ruling that would eliminate exemption for FDA-regulated drugs, cosmetics and medical devices from California's Propostion 65 cancer label-warning requirement. Judge Robie asked plaintiffs, the AFL-CIO, to submit a brief by Dec. 6 in support of the tentative ruling; defendants, the state, and intervenors have until Jan. 12 to respond. An early February hearing is expected.
