Children's Advil approved

Whitehall Labs began shipments of liquid ibuprofen immediately following FDA approval Sept. 19. Children's Advil Suspension is a fruit-flavored liquid ibuprofen indicated in children for the reduction of fever and for symptoms of juvenile arthritis. FDA also approves CoAdvil, a combination OTC treatment for cold, sinusitis and flu. The 200 mg ibuprofen/30 mg pseudoephedrine product was approved via NDA, Whitehall notes. Shipments of CoAdvil are also underway.
