Sullivan confirmation hearings
White House says it has finished background investigation and has asked Congress to reschedule confirmation hearings for HHS Secretary-designate Louis Sullivan. The original hearings before the Senate Finance Committee, scheduled for Feb. 1, were cancelled at the request of the White House. The hearings are expected to begin the week of Feb. 20, when the Senate returns from recess.
