Executive Summary
Warner-Lambert planning Nov. 30 kick-off event at Tavern on the Green in New York City. The launch had been delayed when traces of pesticide contamination were discovered in the bulk cholestyramine resin, which was manufactured in Italy by Rohm and Haas. Purolite is now manufacturing the resin in the U.S. for Warner-Lambert. Cholybar, a confectionary formulation of the bile acid sequestrant product, will initially be available in raspberry and caramel flavors. Others are under development.

The EU Parliament's Environment, Public Health and Food Safety committee takes a compromise position with regards to the Packaging and Packaging Waste Directive.
