ITC minoxidil order
Executive Summary
International Trade Commission grants Upjohn's request to prevent patent infringement of Rogaine by blocking entry of foreign minoxidil into U.S. The ITC order requires U.S. Customs Service to block all imports of minoxidil, except when certified for uses that do not infringe on Upjohn patents. The action is result of ITC investigation following complaint filed by Upjohn in April 1987 citing patent-infringing acts by 20 companies.
