Investing $ 110 mil. in a new research center to be built at Lilly Corporate Center in Indianapolis. The company already has one research facility, built in 1984, at the corporate location. Lilly describes the project as "the largest single capital expenditure in our 112-year history." Construction will begin this year, with completion expected in late 1991.
