Executive Summary
FDA's Drug Advertising & Labeling Division "is looking into" Ortho's recent promotional activities highlighting early clinical results with the Rx acne cream as a wrinkle treatment. Ortho held a press conference Jan. 21 to announce results of a company-sponsored study showing the effect of Retin-A in 30 patients with photoaged skin published in the Jan. 22/29 issue of JAMA ("The Pink Sheet" Jan. 25, T&G-9).
