Controlling interest in the St. Louis-based pharmaceutical repackager acquired by Midwest Capital Resources. The takeover plan, approved by Direct Pharmaceutical's board in August ("The Pink Sheet" Aug. 24, In Brief), gives Midwest Capital 2.5 mil. shares, or 51% of outstanding stock, in exchange for $800,000 and guarantees of an additional $700,000 in loans.
