California mail order pharmacy bill
Executive Summary
Withdrawn July 13, due in part to opposition from the American Assn. of Retired Persons. Bill would have restricted out-of-state mail order pharmacies selling in California by requiring registration with the state pharmacy board. Of 26 states that have, over the last 18 months, considered a bill restricting mail order pharmacies, only North Dakota has enacted one, according to an AARP Pharmacy Services spokesperson.
