Ciba-Geigy's 10-K 10 mEq controlled release potassium chloride has been approved by FDA, extending the firm's Slow-K (8 mEq) line. Price to wholesalers is $10.95 for a bottle of 100. Ciba-Geigy said the tablets are scored so they can be broken in half, crushed, and sprinkled on food. Denmark firm Benson manufactures the product for Ciba-Geigy.
