Squibb's Proto-Chol fish oil
Firm is introducing fish oil gelatin capsules as a "dietary supplement for use in a total nutritional and lifestyle program." Squibb said "studies suggest" that two of the fatty acids in Proto-Chol, eicosapentaenoic and decosahexanenoic acid "may help control blood cholesterol and triglyceride levels." The product is being marketed by Squibb Mark. Squibb reorganized its OTC and generic business under the Squibb Mark label in June. Warner-Lambert is also introducing a fish oil supplement.
