Immunosuppressive drug therapy
Executive Summary
S 2536, which provides for block grants to states to pay costs of immunosuppressive drugs for organ transplant patients, passed the Senate Oct. 8. The legislation appropriates $15 mil. to states for fiscal years 1987, 1988 and 1989. Individual states will receive allotments based on the ratio of eligible patients in the state to the total amount of U.S. patients.
