Warner-Lambert Tropicare in South Africa
Firm's non-commercial health care educational and training program is being extended into South Africa. The program, consisting of a slide presentation with a synchronized narrative for viewing by health care providers in outlying areas under the direction of qualified discussion leaders, is already operating in six other African countries: Ivory Coast, Kenya, Nigeria, Cameroon, Senegal and Zaire. Warner-Lambert develops the audio-visual series based on health needs identified by a commission made up of health officals in each country, local representatives of the World Health Organization, international development organizations, and company officials.
