APhA/APS negotiations
Executive Summary
Nine-member group appointed to try to work out differences between APhA and Academy of Pharmaceutical Sciences over planned reorganization of the pharmacy group will be headed by University of Wisconsin Pharmacy Dean Glenn Sonnedecker, the current APhA honorary chairman and a pharmaceutical scientist. APhA appointees to the task force are PMA's Lawrence Weaver, Univ. of Kentucky Asst. Dean Joseph Fink III, AP'A Chairman-elect Stephen Crawford, and APhA trustee Charles Green. For APS, the appointees are Univ. of Texas Dean James Doluisio, Univ. of Wisconsin prof Joseph Robinson, Univ. of Kentucky prof Arthur Mlodozeniec, Syntex Research Institute VP Boyd Paulson. The task force has a target date of Dec. 31 for recommendations.
