Executive Summary
New Associate Com. Hugh Connon succeeds Robert Wetherell, who left the post in February to take an agency position as chief of the Northeast Shellfish Technical unit in Davisville, Rhode Island. Cannon has been HHS Deputy Assistant Secty. for Legislation for Special Projects for past three months. Prior to that he was Govt. Printing Office Director of Congressional Relations for three years. In other government positions, he was Director of Office Presidential Spokesmen in the White House (1976-77) and Assistant to the Director of Office of Management and Budget (1975-76).
