Duramed acquires ICN plant
Executive Summary
Generic firm has purchased ICN's 152,000 sq. ft. pharmaceutical plant in Cincinnati, Ohio along with 29 ICN generic drugs produced at the facility, for $5.8 mil. Duramed said it has moved all of its operations from Westbury, NY to the Cincinnati plant, spent $1 mil. in renovations, and expects to expand its staff from 40 to 200.
