Volvo buying into Pharmacia
Volvo purchased 2.7 mil. Pharmacia class A restricted shares and 500,000 free shares representing 26.6% of the voting rights and 6.4% of Pharmacia's share capital for undisclosed amount. Volvo said the stake will be owned by consortium. The firm also indirectly controls a 5.6% stake through holdings in investment company AB Custos
